Per Anthropic's post on X, Claude Code's output style can now be set to Concise, so answers lead with the result and stay short. Ask for more and Claude still gives full detail.
You turn it on in /config under Output style, or set "outputStyle": "Concise" in settings.json. Claude Code's output styles are also reachable through the /output-style command.
