OpenAI prices GPT-6 Astra for Law same as base Astra

As of October 31, OpenAI lists gpt-6-astra-law, a legal configuration of GPT-6 Astra, on its API pricing page at $10 per million input tokens, $50 per million output tokens and $1 per million cached input tokens. If your team already pays for gpt-6-astra by the token, the law configuration costs the same, but OpenAI calls this promotional pricing and says it is available “at least through December 31, 2026.”
The standard gpt-6-astra row on the same page shows the same $10 input, $50 output and $1 cached input. Astra was priced at $10 in and $50 out when it reached the API, a day after OpenAI’s September 3 release to customers of Daybreak, its cybersecurity program. The standard row also carries cache-write prices, $12.50 per million tokens for a 30-minute write and $25 for a 12-hour one; the legal table has three price columns, input, output and cached input.
The law entry sits in a new section, “Legal model configurations”, placed after the Daybreak cyber models and the Rosalind life sciences models. Its column header reads “Model configuration”, where every other model table on the page says “Model”.
