Anthropic files public S-1, plans Nasdaq listing as ANT

A public S-1 filed with the SEC on October 26 puts Anthropic’s Class A shares on course for the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker ANT, after a confidential filing in June. Every valuation around the deal is still outside talk, since Anthropic hasn’t set a share count or a price range.
Analysts and investors have valued the company at more than $1.5tn, per The Guardian, and the WSJ expects Anthropic to aim for as much as $2 trillion, which would top the record set by SpaceX’s June offering. Some investors are pushing for less. The last private round, a $65 billion Series H, valued Anthropic at $965 billion.
The filing keeps the public benefit corporation structure, with a Long-Term Benefit Trust electing Class T directors. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley handle the preliminary prospectus.
