Anthropic IPO buyers weigh as little as $1.1 trillion

Potential buyers in Anthropic’s IPO are discussing a $1.2 trillion to $1.3 trillion valuation after a punishing post-election selloff, Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter. Both figures are buyer talk ahead of formal IPO marketing, which starts next week, and the $1.1 trillion floor some are weighing comes from just one of those people.
Earlier estimates had run up to $2 trillion. In October, Reuters sources said investors were discussing around $1.5 trillion instead, and the new range sits below that.
