Anthropic opens Mythos access to the European Union

Anthropic is extending access to its cybersecurity model, Mythos, to the European Union. This marks the first time a powerful vulnerability detection and mitigation tool has been made available outside the US and UK.

Officials from the European Union's cybersecurity agency, ENISA, have confirmed discussions with Anthropic. European Commission officials have also held meetings in San Francisco to discuss participation in Project Glasswing, a coalition of companies using Mythos to protect critical infrastructure.

The terms of the collaboration are still being negotiated, including the level of access Anthropic would have to EU systems when using the model. Previously, access to Mythos was limited to select players such as Microsoft, Apple, and JPMorgan.
