Claude integration launches within Notion
Anthropic and Notion have started beta testing Claude Agents. The tool lets users delegate tasks, edit documents, and write code without leaving Notion. Agents run on Anthropic infrastructure but are managed through Notion's credit system.
The feature is only available on Business and Enterprise plans. On Enterprise accounts and HIPAA spaces, agents are disabled by default; admins must enable them in settings. Personal Anthropic accounts can't be used since billing goes through Notion's internal credits.
Agents only access pages and databases they've been given direct access to. Note that Claude Agents don't fall under Notion's Zero Data Retention (ZDR) commitments since sessions are stateful and persisted to enable functionality.
