Anthropic and OpenAI launch enterprise AI adoption divisions
Both companies have set up structures to directly integrate AI into corporate workflows. Anthropic is focusing on mid-sized businesses, while OpenAI's DeployCo initiative, backed by McKinsey and Bain, targets the largest enterprises.
The goal is to bridge the gap between model capabilities and real-world usage. Anthropic has released 10 pre-built agent templates for finance, including tools for KYC, month-end close, and underwriting. Integration with Moody's and Dun & Bradstreet data allows agents to work with up-to-date financial information.
Experts note that AI excels at deterministic tasks with clear rules. However, analysts warn of risks to consulting firms collaborating with AI developers.
