Anthropic founders' net worth surpasses $16 billion each

The recent $65 billion funding round more than doubled the stakes for the seven co-founders. Forbes estimates each owns just over 1.7%, or $16.6 billion.

The billionaires are Dario and Daniela Amodei, Jack Clark, Sam McCandlish, Chris Olah, Tom Brown, and Jared Kaplan. Their stakes exceed that of OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever's reported $7 billion. All seven Anthropic founders have pledged to give away 80% of their wealth.

The move appears to be an attempt to mitigate the concentration of capital.
