Anthropic set to raise $30B at $90B valuation
The company is on track to close the massive funding round next week. Sequoia Capital, Dragoneer, Altimeter, and Greenoaks are all participating, each planning a ~$2B investment.
The deal would make Anthropic the world's most valuable AI startup, surpassing OpenAI's $85B valuation. Q2 revenue is projected at $10.9B, with an annual run rate exceeding $50B by month's end.
To sustain growth, Anthropic is aggressively expanding its compute capacity, including deals with SpaceX ($45B) and Akamai ($1.8B).
