Anthropic releases Claude Tag for Slack team workflows
The new tool integrates Claude into Slack channels. The model joins channels as a participant with access to selected tools, databases, and code repositories.
The key feature is multi-user support. Channel members see Claude's actions, can continue each other's conversations, and delegate tasks. The model accumulates context from the discussion, eliminating the need to explain project details every time.
Admins manage access through a permissions system, limiting data visibility across channels. Token usage limits can be set for the organization. Claude Tag runs on Opus 4.8 and is available in beta for Enterprise and Team plan customers starting today.
