Capacitor persists Claude Code and Cursor sessions to a shared store
Startup Kurrent released Capacitor, a tool that logs coding agent sessions into an event store powered by KurrentDB. It captures prompts, responses, tool calls, and code changes, assigning each session a unique ID.
Users can resume a session in any agent on any machine or share it with a colleague without re-explaining the context. The tool addresses transcript loss: if a machine reboots or updates its OS, the agent's work history remains intact.
Capacitor operates as a cloud service with a free tier. The developers are seeking community feedback and are exploring other deployment options, including self-hosted versions.
