Claude Code cloud credit has to be claimed by Oct 7

If you were on a Pro or Max plan on Sept 23, you can still get the one-time bonus credit for cloud sessions. It won't arrive on its own, though. You have to run /claim-credit in Claude Code by Oct 7 at 11:59pm PT.
Each task in a cloud session runs on a fresh VM, so you can start several at once, and they keep working after you close your laptop. Anthropic also published a field guide with seven workflows that suit cloud sessions and a walkthrough for connecting GitHub on the first try.
Cloud sessions spend the credit first. Once it runs out or expires on Nov 4, cloud work counts toward your plan limits.
