Claude Cowork moves to web and mobile

Anthropic is shifting Claude Cowork from desktop to the cloud, adding access via web browsers and iOS and Android apps. Sessions and files sync across devices, and tasks run in the cloud even when no device is online. Scheduled tasks execute without a computer running: you can set a meeting prep for 6:00 AM, and Claude will process emails and transcripts, compile a brief, and save a draft response.

The beta is available to Max subscribers starting at 100 dollars per month, with other tiers gaining access in the coming weeks. On web and desktop, Chat and Cowork are now unified into a single interface with shared projects and artifacts.

According to Anthropic data from 1.2 million sessions in May, over 90 percent of Cowork usage is non-coding: one-third goes to business operations, and 16.4 percent to content creation. Doubled limits are extended through August 5.
