Claude Marketplace adds CrowdStrike, Cursor and Vercel

Anthropic added five vendors to Claude Marketplace on September 9: CrowdStrike, Cursor, Factory, Gamma and Vercel. Enterprises can now pay for these Claude-powered products out of their existing Anthropic spend commitment, the company said in a post on X.

Buying through the marketplace adds no new money to the Anthropic contract. Anthropic’s FAQ says purchases “count against a portion of your existing Anthropic commitment”, and Anthropic handles the invoicing for partner spend. The company describes it as a way to simplify procurement and consolidate AI spend, with one bill in place of separate invoices from each vendor.

The marketplace opened on March 6 in limited preview with six partners: Snowflake, GitLab, Harvey, Rogo, Replit and Lovable. Enterprises that wanted in were told to go through their Anthropic account team. Crypto Briefing counts eleven partners after this round. CrowdStrike announced its part a week before the post, on September 2: its Falcon platform comes to the marketplace with Charlotte AI AgentWorks.

Anthropic won’t take a cut of marketplace purchases, Bloomberg reported. SiliconANGLE noted that an enterprise which signed an excessively large Claude commitment can redirect some of those funds to third-party software, and that because the store is open only to Claude-powered applications, startups get an extra incentive to integrate Anthropic models.

VentureBeat framed the launch as a tension. Claude Code and Cowork were seen as ways to shift spend away from third-party SaaS apps, and earlier Claude integrations had on several occasions set off a major selloff in SaaS stocks. The marketplace, in VentureBeat’s reading, pushes against that idea by treating existing SaaS apps as still valuable.
