Cowork and chat become one Claude, tasks keep running
Hand over a report and Claude carries on with it after you close the laptop, and if something's unclear it asks instead of guessing, with the final say staying yours. That's the pitch for merging Cowork and chat into one Claude, announced by the Claude account on X.
Editing stays two-way: fix a line in the doc yourself, leave a comment for Claude on a slide, or select an element and move it. When it's done, present the deck straight from Claude, export the doc in the format you already use, or share everything at one link.
If you've been working in Cowork, chats, projects, artifacts, connectors and skills sit where you left them. The rollout reaches Pro and Max over the next few weeks; Claude Design, Claude Slides and Claude Docs are in beta on all paid plans.
