Claude's slash commands reshape one answer three ways

Ask for an analysis of your spending, then type /doc, /dashboard or /design, and the same conversation hands it back as a document, a dashboard or a design. That's the pitch in a post from Claude's account, and it's the first hands-on example of chat and Cowork sharing one Claude.

Per Claude's site, the merge announced as of September 16, 2026 has Claude pick the tool for each request, so quick answers and multi-step tasks live in one thread. It was rolling out on Pro and Max plans.

The post doesn't say which plans get the three commands, and no other source we checked mentions them. Three commands to memorize still beats picking a mode before every task.
