Leakers say partners already have Claude Fable 5.5

The LiteLLM entry for Claude Fable 5.5 survived about a day, per TestingCatalog: it was removed when Azure queries came back empty. The leaker lyra still claims partners have the model and expects a release next week. Anthropic hasn’t confirmed anything.
A screenshot from X user Alex Getman showed Fable 5.5 in Azure’s East US 2 catalog as “Generally available” at $10 and $50 per million input and output tokens. That’s the Fable 5.1 price, and TestingCatalog suspects most values were simply carried over.
Lumina Bench also spotted a “claude-onigiri-eap” codename in Artificial Analysis’s frontend, with an Opus 4.8 fallback. It was pulled hours later.
For comparison, Opus 5.5 launched less than a month ago at $4 and $20, roughly matching Fable 5.1 on most tasks. Would you pay Fable prices for the next step up?
