Mendral's team is joining Anthropic to work on Claude Platform
Mendral is folding its team into Anthropic. The startup built an agent that automates engineering grunt work: triaging CI failures, fixing flaky tests, and vetting the dependency updates nobody actually reads.
Its founders went from founding engineers at Docker to co-founders of Dagger. They say Claude was at the core of Mendral from the first commit, and every few months a new model made part of their roadmap unnecessary and most of it possible.
The hosted product is shutting down, with every customer being moved to another solution. At Anthropic, the team will keep building on Claude Platform.
