Per TestingCatalog, several users on X noticed Claude Opus 5.5 producing results well beyond its usual level over the weekend, which suggests some traffic is being routed to a new checkpoint just three weeks after Opus 5.5 launched. One tester says the model worked for 2 hours with Blender MCP to build a 3D scene from a single-sentence prompt, with no ready-made model. Anthropic's John Hoffmann wrote only "The best is yet to come. Stay tuned, peeps," and the model's name and timing remain open.
