Anthropic in talks with White House over model block
Anthropic's technical team headed to Washington to resolve a spat with the Trump administration. The issue is export restrictions on the Mythos and Fable models, citing safety concerns.
The curbs effectively suspended access to the company's most capable models. Anthropic reps have been in virtual meetings with officials since Friday to try to resolve the dispute.
Both sides have expressed openness to a dialogue. The situation is still unfolding.
