Anthropic introduces Claude for Small Business
The company has launched a specialized program for small businesses and solo entrepreneurs. It is based on a Claude Cowork plugin that includes 15 pre-built skills for automating routine tasks. Claude can now handle payroll planning, financial report reconciliation, launching marketing campaigns, and onboarding employees.
The system supports integration with popular services, including QuickBooks, PayPal, Stripe, Slack, Canva, and Google Workspace. The skills are implemented through text files with instructions and connectors for external data. This solution complements the recent launch of Claude for Legal, expanding Anthropic's ecosystem of specialized tools.
The program targets companies that were previously overlooked by AI developers. Anthropic is also starting a series of educational events to show business owners how to implement these tools in their daily work.
