Anthropic adds Agent SDK credits to Claude subscriptions
Starting June 15, 2026, paid plan users will get separate monthly credits for working with the Claude Agent SDK. SDK calls and non-interactive commands in Claude Code will no longer draw from the main subscription limits.
The bonus amount depends on the plan: Pro gets $20, Max 5x gets $100, and Max 20x gets $200. For team and enterprise accounts, the amounts range from $20 to $200 per seat. Credits refresh every cycle and do not carry over to the next month.
This move separates interactive work in chat or Claude Cowork from programmatic automation. Anthropic notes that credits are meant for personal experimentation. For large-scale production tasks, the company recommends using the Claude Developer Platform via the API. Activating the bonus requires a one-time confirmation in the account settings.
