Anthropic introduces Dynamic Workflows in Claude Code

The update enables Claude to tackle end-to-end tasks at scale. Instead of a single prompt, the model generates orchestration scripts that spin up dozens or hundreds of parallel sub-agents within one session.

The approach targets massive codebases: migrating hundreds of files, searching for bugs across a service, or security audits. A competitive mechanism is at play: some agents propose solutions while others try to refute them until a stable solution emerges.

The example given is a migration of Bun from Zig to Rust. Using Dynamic Workflows, a developer rewrote 750,000 lines of code in 11 days with 99.8% test coverage.
