The latest Claude Code release focuses on safety and interface fixes. Destructive Git commands like git reset --hard or git clean are now blocked by default unless the user explicitly requests removal of local changes. Similar restrictions apply to infrastructure-destroying commands in Terraform, Pulumi, and CDK.

The update adds warnings for deprecated models and lets users hide the claude.ai session link from commits and PRs via the attribution.sessionUrl setting. The /config command has expanded help, and the settings menu now saves changes on exit with the Esc key.

The release also fixes display issues in Windows Terminal's full-screen TUI mode and resolves problems with empty web search results in sub-agents.
