The latest Claude Code version lets users change settings directly from the prompt via the /config command. This works interactively, with the -p flag, and in Remote Control.

On macOS, the sandbox.allowAppleEvents option allows the sandbox to send Apple Events. The CLAUDE_CLIENT_PRESENCE_FILE environment variable suppresses mobile push notifications when the user is active on a computer. The Bun runtime was updated to version 1.4.

Stability was improved: file writes to network drives were fixed, terminal hangs during Spotlight indexing were resolved, and startup crashes were addressed. Subagents were also fixed to respect the 5-level nesting limit.
