1Password lets Claude use your logins without seeing them

1Password has launched a Claude integration that lets the agent use saved logins for multi-step tasks like booking trips or managing accounts. 1Password says the credentials themselves never reach Anthropic's models.

The piece doing the work is what 1Password calls a zero-exposure security framework: the needed credentials get injected through a secure channel the agent can't read. Claude never sees passwords or one-time MFA codes. Access is granted per task with a single biometric confirmation.

Once the agent takes over the browser, 1Password locks the vault and exposes only the data cleared for that task. It's live for Mac users on business, family, and individual plans, with support for payment cards and IDs promised later.
