CCLimitPing automates the 5-hour Claude Code window

The open-source tool limitping sends a minimal request via the official CLI immediately after a limit reset, ensuring the new 5-hour window starts without delay. Claude Code, Codex, and Spark subscriptions operate on rolling 5-hour windows plus a weekly cap, where the window starts upon the first paid request rather than the reset time.

limitping tracks the reset time and pings after the rollover. It uses Claude Haiku and Codex gpt-5.4-mini, the cheapest available options, as any paid request triggers the window. One ping every 5 hours consumes roughly 33 requests per week.

The limitping continue command proxies the official CLI and automatically injects a continue message when the limit restores, preventing overnight tasks from stalling. It is installed via a single-line install.sh script under the MIT license.
