Claude Code 2.1.142: new tools and Bedrock integration

Claude Code version 2.1.142 is out. The key addition is the SendUserFile tool, which lets the agent pass generated files with captions and status to the user.

Developers improved context handling. Sessions are now correctly wrapped in data tags, preventing accidental execution of instructions from links or logs. The Console escape hatch mechanism has been added, printing the session URL directly to the console for easier monitoring.

Support for Amazon Bedrock has been introduced. A migration guide explains the use of the anthropic. prefix for model IDs and API differences. Task tools now dynamically choose between TaskCreate and TodoWrite based on settings. This update makes working with managed agents more predictable and transparent.
