Claude Code v2.1.144: major bugfix update

Anthropic released a significant update to Claude Code, focusing on background session stability and fixing critical bugs. The update also continues to develop the Agent View feature introduced earlier.

Key changes:

• Improved background task handling: sessions can now be resumed via /resume, and completion notifications display the exact duration.

• Fixed network hangs: when Anthropic servers are unavailable, the client no longer freezes for 75 seconds and instead times out after 15 seconds.

• Terminal stability: visual artifacts when resizing the window and crashes related to access permissions on macOS have been fixed.

• MCP improvements: a bug causing paginated responses from MCP servers to be truncated has been fixed, and support for image formats that previously caused crashes has been added.

The update also addresses issues with model selection for Bedrock and Vertex, as well as fixes incorrect hotkey behavior in Windows Terminal. Updating is recommended to resolve session hanging issues.
