Developer creates ADHD plugin for Claude Code
Researcher Udit Akhuri released the ADHD tool for the Claude Agent SDK, which alters the AI's planning approach. Instead of linear analysis, the model runs multiple parallel reasoning branches, evaluates them, and prunes dead-end options.
The creator claims this approach doubles Claude Code's efficiency, especially in finding logical pitfalls. The project, called ADHD: Parallel Divergent Ideation, has gained traction on GitHub and is being integrated into commercial products.
Experts are skeptical about the claimed twofold increase, citing the small test sample of six tasks. Additionally, running multiple reasoning branches simultaneously significantly increases token usage.
