Ramp platform data shows Anthropic's share of corporate AI spend hit 41% in May, up 2.5 percentage points from April. OpenAI's share held steady at 39.5%. The analysis covers transactions from over 70,000 companies.
Most business spend goes toward API calls and usage of Claude Opus. Despite the controversy over Mythos 5 and Fable 5, demand for Anthropic's products continues to grow. Ramp economist Ara Harazian notes regulatory disputes often boost corporate interest in technologies labeled potentially risky.
