Claude Code update v2.1.152 released

Anthropic shipped a CLI tool update. The /code-review command now supports a --fix flag that applies code simplification recommendations directly to the working directory. The /simplify command triggers this process by default.

The release adds flexibility to skill management. Users can disable tools via frontmatter, and /reload-skills lets users refresh skills without restarting the session. SessionStart hooks can now set session headers.

The Auto mode no longer requires consent, and if a primary model is unavailable, the tool switches to a fallback. Memory usage during large file analysis has been improved, terminal rendering issues are fixed, and Vim mode now supports reverse history search with the / key.
