Xcode 27 lets you export Agent Skills to third-party IDEs
Apple introduced official Agent Skills in Xcode 27, which can now be used in Claude, Cursor, and Codex. To export skills to the terminal, run the command `xcrun agent skills export ~/.agents/skills`, and third-party IDEs will pick up the available tools.
There are 7 skills available, including uikit-app-modernization, swiftui-specialist, and test-modernizer. Code-only skills work in any IDE, while tools requiring simulator or build settings interaction only work within the Apple environment.
Separately, Codacy released its own Agent Skills for Claude, enabling code analysis and security checks on the server-side, which saves agent tokens when fixing errors in Pull Requests.
